OK so yes I can speak and write in Swedish, but it`s my blog, so for my own pleasure I will be writing in English.

I`ve been overweight for so many years now, I don`t remember a time I was ever happy with my weight. In all honesty are any of us ever really happy with how we look? I remember being 12 stone (76kg many many years ago) and thinking, god I`m getting big and yet now I would give anything to be that size again. I think as the years go by and we get older, we learn to be more acceptable to the way we look weight wise. Saying that LCHF does seem to be something that works for me and regular visits to the gym don`t seem to be a problem either, so the key will be "motivation" I have it now, but the million dollar question is, "Can I keep it?" Time will tell!

Too much protien???

Too much protein? I just don`t know. I seem to be eating double as much protein as I am carbohydrates and the rest fat, but judging by the chart I seem to be eating way to little fat. My carbohydrate intake is around 30gr a day, give or take. I don`t seem to have lost much weight the last week, but have been training hard, so maybe I really should begin measuring myself to really see if there has been any changes. On a more positive note, I do feel healthier, so for now, I will just go with that!

[KURSIV]Recommended to take at least 0.8 grams of protein per kg of body weight according to the Swedish nutrition recommendations, which can feel a bit low. Does that protein accounts for about 10 - 15% of energy intake. If you practice much cardio or weight training or have a physically demanding job that is 2 grams of protein per kg of a better truth. Exercise fitness sport so it is about 1.4 grams per kilogram to recommend[/KURSIV]. If it can help you.

If you doing LCHF you should be around 70-80% fat then proteins and as low carbs as you can take :D. If you train hard and get doms that can hold alot of water so measuring is safer :) I stod still for over 5 weeks but I noticed I was smaller when I jumped in my wetsuit :D Good luck!!

Ok so by that measurement I`m not even eating enough protein, yesterdays chart shows: Fett: 45 g Protein: 113 g Kolhydrater: 36 g As for the calories, I had around 1600 left at the end of the day, maybe I`m just doing the calculation wrong, that seems like a lot of calories to have left over. I did train at the gym for an hour last night, so that is included.

If you want to loose weight NEVER use your training calories for food, just saying :D Well once a week is probably ok but not any more than that. I used to eat LCHF earlyer, but today its more LC for me since I started powelifting. Bra träning skriva på engelska :) Stay strong!
