Beers & Friends

This is the difficult part of making this Modifast diet, meeting friends in a bar.... Uhmmm, what to do when you are in the situation when everyone is drinking beers and eating chips and nuts and so around you? Add to this that the bar sells no Diet Coke... it does feel really boring to drink sparkling water doesnt it? I could not resist the tentation and I had to order a Light beer ( 2,1% ), which I guess is not a lot worse than a normal coke. But I felt a bit guilty for doing this, I have really gotten this diet thinking now I guess. So the solution? Try not to meet friends in that kind of situation for the coming 5 weeks...booooorrinnnnnngg!

    The same this weekend. My mom and dad hade a barbecue party.. Ha!! It is so easy to not take anyting twice.. ;) I think we have too change our lifestyle so it doesnt feel like we are making an effort, more natural thing to do. Or working out before/after we want someting that is not good for us. I am trying but its hard...

    You are right, it is about changing lifestyles, the problem is that I am not sure that I want to have a lifestyle where I dont go to bars to have a beer with a friend :) One tip to not even think about the diet is to make reforms and home improvements. If your house is filled with stuff everywhere and paint and building material in every corner you are thankful that you just have to "shake your dinner" 4 times a day jejej so think about combining the Modifast diet with all of those home-improvement projects that you have been leaving for another day ( I am the king of procastination ) Cheers!
